There should have been a Certificate of Conformity in your handover pack from the dealer, or left in the glovebox, this confirms all of the basic specs, and build date.

I bit the bullet and removed the rear tints which came off pretty easy.... also removed both rear head rests for better visibilty. It's like driving a different car !
