How about a method to permanently disable the annoying “27th July, Clear and 25 degrees in Torquay, please pay attention to driving safely” message which only starts once the car has established a connection to the cloud (which in my case is usually about a minute after setting off). Its soooo annoying as it interrupts every other function.
Isn’t this the welcome message?

That can be disabled and changed in the right hand screen menus

Supposed to be able to switch the welcome message on and off and edit what it says in the settings for voice on the right hand screen - the toggle is set to “off” but the full welcome with temperature weather, location still comes on every time. Seems they fix one thing and screw up another! I think a generic improvement would be a rewrite of the system rather than all the patches they seem to be applying. It really is the worst infotainment system I’ve ever used. And don’t start me on the adaptive cruise (jerky and intermittent) or the touch screen sensitivity (might as well be wearing boxing gloves). A potentially great car let down by shoddy and piecemeal software implementation.

Yes i'm on the same page.
I forgive all annoying errors once i feel the wind through my hair, but i worry for the winter...

Just change the setting on the weather screen (I think) to turn that off permanently.

you can turn it off in the weather tab of the right screen.

My suggestion is how the user interfaces with the screens left and right of the center driver display. On the steering wheel are 2 "joy sticks". (y) They should be the controls for the left and right touch screens. Up-down-left-right, press to select. These could navigate the entire selections on these screens without the need to ever touch the screen (which are not very responsive anyway). Scrolling through the menus with mechanical control is less distracting while driving and more easily accomplished. Currently the left joy stick seems to be the distance following control for the cruise control only (wasteful) and the right joy stick is volume, track forward and pause. Those functions can (and should) be accomplished elsewhere or maybe a scroll wheel (Tesla). The push buttons on the steering wheel to scroll through pages is ok but redundant. If you want to adjust something you still need to touch the screen anyway and the page choices are available on touch screen as well so these page buttons on the wheel are superfluous. The joy sticks are logical controls yet way underutilized.
I understand your points here, but now I am used to the joysticks and I do use the change screen buttons rather than touch as it is safer than trying to touch the screens that seem to sometimes be unresponsive. What would be good though is if you touch the screen button on the steering wheel and then the joystick within 2 seconds you can toggle up or down the screens rather than just go down all the time.

The doors close automatically with buttons on central console. Passenger/driver (already in the car) can easily put their hands between them. The sensor on the outside of the door can't detect that.
There are multiple sensors. If you have your body between the car and door it will not close. I don’t want to try it myself yet but I have seen it working on YouTube reviews.

Cyberster improvement wish list
  1. The subwoofer doesn't work. A fix to enable it would be most welcome.
  2. Allow the use of cruise control in the Custom drive mode
  3. A method to close the boot without having to grab and push down the boot lid
  4. Automatically increase the display brightness when the roof is down. A brightness setting suitable for when the roof is up is too dim when the roof is down.
  5. Allow the owner to reconfigure the right paddle to provide regen adjustment. Left paddle for regen increase, right paddle for regen decrease. That's common on other EVs and would be more intuitive for anyone driving a sports car used to paddle shifts.
  6. Make it possible to open and close the roof with the key fob
  7. Proper Balance options for the sound system - and especially Fade options
  8. Over The Air Updates. OTA. Setup a UK and Europe Server to enable this. Its almost 2025!
  9. Both Paddle shifts can Toggle up/down regenerative braking. Like the KIA you can hold down the left paddle for live regen braking. This can be configured in the menus on center dash.
  10. Switchable screens for European cars. Left Screen and Right screens
  11. Throttle carries on accelerating after let off. Not immediately responsive possibly with regen off
  12. Maps can be moved to the center screen where more visible like Audi with speed and power output still displayed with corner readings.
  13. Ability to reset the car from console Menu.
For 12, you can move the sat nav instructions to the centre screen, on the right. Using the button at the bottom of the right hand side of the steering wheel. I use this a lot when in unfamiliar places.

Please could we have the car operate memory seats with a single press of the button rather than having to hold the button down until the seat is where it is supposed to be. All other cars we have had work this way.

I would like the aircon to automatically power off when the roof is open to prevent damaging the aircon system and then to turn back on when it closes.

The ACC limit 130km/h is little annoying. I don't know why it doesn't allow to set a higher speed. Minor change that could be done with a software update, I believe.
