X Power lowering springs now available. ?

I think I've said before, I've held off as not to cloud the vibration issue should MG ever come to a solution???

It would look better without doubt, and I would be doing it purely for aesthetics.

I would also hope it made a bit of difference to the roll experienced in the corners when pushing on.
Agreed. But who knows, the lowering may well cure the vibes, we just don't know. As for MG curing the vibe problem, I have my doubts. A multi-million (perhaps billion) pound company can't seem to solve what seems like a relatively simple problem, with the technology available these days. I wouldn't be holding me breath. But here's hoping. ???

Hello again,
I have been in touch with Euro carparts who are the UK supplier for H&R suspension. H&R have developed a set of lowering springs for the X Power yet none are available in the UK.
After speaking with H&R and ECP head office I am pleased to confirm that UK stock is now ordered & will be available in mere weeks.
Shining a light on our group of almost 12,000 members I was able to secure a discount for members of this forum. Once I am informed of pricing & the discount I will ofcourse post details.
Thankyou
KMC

Too many potholes and speed bumps in the area I drive in. I'd end up with my head bouncing off the roof...

It's this part of the warranty I'd be worried about

The vehicle has not been altered from the original specification, where said alterations maybe found to be the cause of any subsequent component failure.

Yep, you takes ya chance. But would probably only effect, anything to do with the suspension, if indeed it did. Wouldn't effect any other warranty claims.

How did your insurance company respond to the modification?

Don't know yet, got 19s ready to go on. Then it'll be lowering time.
I'm hoping the insurance won't be to bad, as it's only really cosmetic mods. It's power upgrades they usually, don't like.
It's an X Power so don't need that. 🙂👍
