I agree I've had some quick cars over the years, none as quick 0-60 as the x power but plenty that would leave it top end and also out break it.
If I'm being honest my next car will definitely be an EV (it will be my third) but I will be looking at real world range and efficiency as my most important considerations.
I am not interested in 500, 600 or 700hp and abysmal efficiency.
I actually like the look of the new mercedes cla 250+ saw a brand new one for £38k and they are just out so will be keeping an eye on their prices.

I think my pre requisite for my next EV would be 250kW AWD and around 700km - 800km range at a sensible price ..

My reasoning is I want a bit of grunt; AWD is always better in wet conditions; on 800V platform; warrantied; V2G /V2H and 800km range, and I’m sold ..

Similar to my thoughts !! .. I've gone for 335bhp, 414lb-ft, AWD and a range of up to 364 miles at a very sensible lease price

Agreed TBH i cannot see another car out there currently and coming that appeals to me over my X Power.

Yeh like those, but would not want one personally myself but a big nod of respect from me for what Hyundai did.

MG IM5 performance, €49,000 list price, which is about £42,000. Utter bargain for a really nice interior and 742hp with a 800V, 100kwh battery and super fast DC charging times, range is not issue. This or the equivalent in 5 years time will be my next car.

If that's true. That's a hell of a discount.
About 20 grand. Still far to rich, for me though.
