Just installed my EV charger. It’s connected to my solar panels and inverter.
It would be great if the battery of the car would be bidirectional.
Tomorrow I pick up my new car at the dealer

Nice set up - and I agree it's a shame the battery's not bi-directional. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new car, especially when you'll get it charged for free!

Good setup, but I have no idea what bidirectional means! Is it where the car battery can supply power?

Yeah - I think it's called V2L (vehicle to load) such as the new Ionic. An adapter is put onto the charging port and you can draw 3Kw from the car to power and external accessory. Really handy, especially if the other half runs out of power somewhere - saves getting a lift on the back of the big yellow taxi! :ROFLMAO:

Cheers
