I recently took delivery of a ZS EV and noticed that the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) was inoperative. No matter what I did I could not get the ACC to engage.
After reading through the owners manual it appears there is a logic connection between the Traction Control System (TCS), the Stability Control System (SCS) and the ACC. When the TCS/SCS is switched off the ACC won’t operate, which makes sense.
I checked the TCS/SCS setting on the infotainment system and it was on. However, I recycled the switch ‘Off’ and ‘On’. The slider did not change but after this the ACC started working and has been fine ever since.
I thought I would post this here to assist other ZS EV owners.
