ZS EV CarPlay will not activate

I cannot get my iPhone to connect to Apple CarPlay. I've tried my wife's iPhone and several flavours of lightning cable including 3 x brand new genuine Apple cables and still no joy. Once in a blue moon CarPlay activates but then drops out after 2 minutes. Any ideas?

Gen. 1 driver here - mine was like this. I'm assuming you're using the correct port. Mine became most relaible when I update my phone (13) and used an official Apple cable. That said, it drops out from time to time. My own thinking is that the USB port in the car is not the most robust and any movement here causes the issue.

Car play does not always connect for me, when this happens I unlock the phone and it then connects (even though the setting is on to connect while locked).
