Hi!

I’ve joined the forum to research the ZS, as I’m not yet an owner but have seen a 2021 car with 56k km advertised for just around £10k, which seems quite affordable compared to other electric cars. I’m wondering if there’s a reliable price indication tool online somewhere which could tell me what these cars should cost, or is it a case of trawling autotrader for ads?

Also interested in hearing about generic problems affecting this model, or anything in particular which should be looked at before buying. Thanks all.

Bargains to be had for used EVs as new models come out constantly.

Will cost peanuts to run it if you can charge at home.

No idea about the ZS specifically but good luck with your search!

Thanks for the replies I got already! Do you happen to know if they all have reversing cameras? I see it mentioned as a feature in some ads, but unsure whether it might be fitted as standard and only some sellers of ZS EV actually mention it in the listing?

My wife (who I’m buying the car for) is especially keen on this feature :)

Be aware in the Winter, the reversing camera often misted up, and becomes less clear than it does in the Summer months, coupled with the front camera being out, due to internal moisture most of the Winter months for the first 5-10miles of any trip. It's a could do better, but at a cost!

Most of these will have an EVCC that won't support Tesla supercharging.

Make sure that it has had the "comfort" software/firmware updates, as the original software apparently had bings and bongs galore, as well as many glitches. It doesn't have a facility for charging to 80%, at least the Australian 2021 models.

Still a great, inexpensive EV, as long as you are prepared to put up with a few niggles.

It's all down to supply and demand - can't comment for prices in Sweden though, likely to be very different to the UK. Over here we also have sites that will give buy price for used vehicles - like webuyanycar.com, which is good to get a vague idea of value - maybe you have similar sites over there?
