MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Surely to god, there can’t be that many people who ordered a MG ZS EV last November/December who are still waiting ? I’m on 10 months next week.

I ordered 14th Dec, apparently on the boat, I'm not holding my breath... LRTC

I am still waiting for my silver trophy Long range ordered on 30/11. It is waiting for transport from Portbury apparently…

12 months tomorrow. Birthday commiseration cake with a large red ordered. I was going to invite MG to the party but I guess they would arrive late.
 
Glad to see the people that have been waiting longest are finally getting news on their orders.

Saw a truck with about 5 mg4 and I think 3 hs on the back this morning heading north on m18 between Rotherham and Doncaster
 
landed on life boat lol i saw in real life its to small for me to low to get in and out comfy tbh the inside is about same as my mini f56 so i stayed with the zs order sales in dealers said they dont know when i could get one in real time any how and 2k ap is a lot not to get back

There are also still waiting ‘the longest’ e.g. December, January :(
 
Think there is going to be further delays chatting to my dealer mg won't be in a rush to get them out with how much there loosing on the cars with the increase in costs.

Would not be surprised in the slightest if they start cancelling orders i hope not for everyone involved. i just think mg did not think they would sell as much as they did.

I thought that too, I would love one but it's too low, I had a Qashkia 3 cars ago because of the height. Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer!
 
I can’t believe MG are losing money on the ZS? its not like they are making them cost wise for what they are selling them for, guess they are making them for 12 -15k a car and selling them for double the cost, even if the batteries have gone up, I’d guess they are still in profit..maybe not as much as they were making, so it’ll cut the bottom line..is it just another excuse for MG not getting cars out..along with “the wind is blowing the wrong way” “the sea was very choppy and the captain didn’t want to get sea sick, so stayed in port for a bit longer” “ the leafs have fallen off the trees and the roads are slippery and the lorry’s are finding it hard to drive the cars to the port”

Some of us waiting nigh on a year still don't have a delivery date, yet later orders of the exact same spec already delivered to other customers - I don't believe it was necessary for many to have waited as long as they have, even with industry wide issues.

The shambles at MG is primarily down to their weak decision making, lack of customer care, poor communication, inability to get a grip on their dealer network and a vehicle allocations team that studied at clown school. For those reasons alone they should at the least honour any ZS order tied to a 3rd party discount (PiCG, Motability, Affinity ect.), even if they are forced to cancel/offer alternatives for the rest. What will actually happen next though is all speculation until MG issue anything in writing.

Having the next gen ZS ready as an alternative might've helped if that's easier &/or cheaper to produce, but that looks to be a way off. The 4 isn't an option for some, not only in terms of practicality but due to the quality of certain elements.

Hi all, Tusker order here, January 2022 of Black Trophy Connect LR - had heard from Tusker last week that it would be arriving mid to late November, got a call yesterday afternoon from the dealer to arrange delivery, which will be next Wednesday. It must have arrived in the country at the end of October. I now know the chassis number and reg number (72 plate).

So delighted, hope there's more in store for you folks.

Mine has said the same, but no delivery yet, and Tusker still says awaiting build, but the dealer have said they are just waiting for it to land with them so they can arrange delivery. Fingers and toes crossed its part of the same shipment as yours. Mines a black LRt
