New MG4 Shipment?

At last my Orange LR trophy is now "At sea" status and has been for two weeks so hopefully on the Figaro which is expected into Portbury Bristol 21st May. Long wait since October last year when I ordered it originally lol.

They have stacks of the Orange Trophy in the dealership closet to me just now. I pass there on route for my Costa fix.

I live in the netherlands but I' m sure some people may find that useful info too.
I ordered the mg4 Luxury (is how theyre called here) in color Brighton Blue on 27th of march. Expected delivery date was 1st of september. Unexpectedly, the dealer just contacted me that the car is ready to be delivered! I should get the car next week after only 2 months waiting from order date

The more I look at this forum, the more worried I get that my car is here 4 months earlier than what was said. Hope they're not trying to give me a car that was rejected by someone else for oil leak, bulge in undertray, software problems or any of the other faults.

Not necessarily so the dealer nearest me has got stacks of orange trophies and some others too. I can’t see them all being cancelled orders. I’m not talking one or two here there must have been more than a dozen orange ones albeit I didn’t stop to count them. It might be dealers have had a lot of enquiries and anticipated that they wouldn’t have any issues shifting them.

In the Netherlands i think they received multiple new MG4's in stock. I guess as part of their stock sale. On Wednesday there also was a brighton bleu 1 in stock. (they told me on wednesday when i went in for some additional info before ordering an MG4, on friday it was not there anymore). Maybe they decided to deliver that 1 to you. Their stock seem to change pretty fast, on Wednesday Andes grey was not available, on Friday it was.

I had a call from my dealer today with exact this reasoning, they have a black roof trophy now available as the customer who ordered it has lost 10k on the car they were going to part exchange, they would owe a grand to complete and have had to cancel.

I’m going to pass on it and await my factory order, just want to have the initial production bugs ironed out on mine.

Mines through Octopus salary sacrifice. 2 weeks ago it had been built but still at factory. Surprisingly last week it was in the UK so MG are still a bit naff with tracking...

Nevermind Octopus told me that it's at at sea now... MG just can't track anything

I’m the same. My car has been at sea for the last three weeks, fingers crossed it’s on the same boat! When is the next boat due after that?

The Boheme is due into Bristol 16th June then the Tannhauser July 12th.

They're beginning to fit them for the 2023 model year.
I think you get a centre rear headrest too (to totally block the view out of your freshly-wiped rear window).

I've just realised that most of these are named after operas! Shoot me now.

They're beginning to fit them for the 2023 model year.

If mine comes with the centre headrest, it wont be there long

That reminds me, I need to get a good performance on Tannhäuser on to my USB music stick for the car. I only have it on vinyl (and a couple of DVD versions) and that's not much cop for present purposes.
