Will that mean you only get 11 months tax? (i.e. you'd need to tax it again on 1st May next year). If yes, why not register it on 1st June?

Yes - I know the tax is £0 anyway, but the principle still stands.

7 days here for my Camden Grey Trophy

Worked out okay for me though, means I had time to set all finances up and insurance and sell my car privately.

There are still stock cars around from cancelled orders and such, most people don't seem to know that if you shop around you can still find them ready and waiting to go.

The closest dealer to me (Chapel House Bolton) had 7 MG4's on display the other day (4x White Trophy / 1x Orange Trophy / 1x Black SE / 1x Grey Trophy)

Not sure if they were sold or being sold but it was interesting seeing so many.

My dealer said they were selling about two a week so they were buying them in on spec, taking a guess about what the next customer might want or be prepared to settle for in order not to have to wait.

After trying to persuade me to buy a Trophy then when that didn't work trying to persuade me to buy an SE LR, he confessed he had exactly what I wanted, an SE SR in Holborn Blue, sitting out the back waiting to be prepped for sale.

He hurried it up a bit as I had decided to take my insurance offer on my Golf and expected to have to hand it over to them almost at once. In fact it took them at least a couple of weeks to send someone to collect it.

Great news! The Grey is fantastic especially when clean and shiny (which I have been neglecting lately )

It doesn't stand out like the Orange or Blue but does highlight the pretty lines at the front end very well.

Good luck with your test drive, and subsequent purchase if all goes according to plan!

I'm kinda regretting ordering black instead of grey, you wont see the 2 tone of the roof with the all black.

It also depends on the build date as to whether people get it at all since it was revised with added rear wiper and centre headrest.

But, the Grey and Black roof isn't too much of a contrast in comparison to the orange, blue, white and red with black roof.

@ajhayden93 is getting their car on Wednesday next week and the spec sheet showed rear wiper. I get mine the Monday after.

Hopefully it will but it won’t be getting washed till I have had it PPF wrapped and ceramic coated. The detailer has told me not to wash it as that could cause more work pre treatment. Will just need to find out from them how soon after treatment I can wash it and how. But we will see about that first things first.

Near Wetherby at Thorpe Arch, they can’t do a Full wrap but I am having the main areas done and a full ceramic coating. Having the Glass, wheels and interior done too. I will only get a definite date when I know I am getting the car. They did have a date for the middle of June if that’s gone then it will be July.
