Update for me they had some MG ZS delivered today... not mine though! My "100% this week delivery" that was meant to happen last week is unlikely to happen this week either. Apparently my car is waiting to be put on lorry to be moved here. Not sure why it's waiting though rather than being moved... If it doesn't happen by Friday then I can't pick it up till Thursday as I am working all week. I get a feeling dealer is as frustrated about this as I am. It stresses me out because being promised car last week I pulled a trigger on car loan in bank I was preapproved so I am now sat here with £25 000 in my current account which fun as it may sound is just stressful.

The only consolidation I take is that my charger and fuse upgrade doesn't happen till they 1st of April so at least when car comes I will be able to charge it straight away.

Why is having your finance in place stressful? I don't understand unnecessarily tying oneself in knots. At least payment is ready to go so you can pull the trigger as soon as your car arrives, rather than vice versa.

Because I am very unused to having equivalent of my yearly income to be sat in my account. I just dislike having that much money just sat there plus in 7 days I will be both paying upkeep of my current car and a car loan on a car I don't yet have.

Lenders do offer the option to defer commencement of repayments by a couple of months. I've taken that option in the past to keep outgoings relatively flat period to period when there's a car changeover, so as to try and mitigate this scenario. Can't say whether that's offered to every customer though 🤔
 
Currently have a ZE50 and had actually ordered a new one before the NCAP controversy and cancelled it partly due to that and deciding the ZS was better value.

Took the Zoe in for it's last service before I hand it back in (just over a month) and the replacement I'd originally ordered was actually delivered while I was there.
Part of me did kick myself...
 
Ordered the LR Trophy in Jan with expected delivery of sometime in March. Only a few days left now. Will it, won't it? I'm beginning to think it won't arrive this month. Four-year lease on the Leaf ending soon = squeaky bum time
 
Today we will be updated if they have found the same model car elsewhere, hoping they can find a cancellation somewhere, may be a different colour. I am not hopeful. I don't believe if we re-order we will get the correct car in July like the said. Need a back up plan as the baby is due in 4 weeks so want the bigger car for the wife.

Good luck with the car. I'm frustrated enough with all the delays, and I'm an old guy with no baby on the way, so can only imagine how stressed you must feel. Good luck when the wee one comes along, all the best.

but at least the part of you that didn't kick yourself is happy knowing that if you crash in the ZS you are more likely to survive than in the Zoe... Every cloud and what not

I ordered my LR Trophy in November last year for a March delivery, that has been pushed back twice now to June... so I would not be counting my chickens for a March delivery for you I'#m afraid... good luck though, let us know if you do get it because a lot of us will have some serious questions for our dealers if they weren't able to deliver on the original promised date but others are.
 
Cape town highway probably not got mg on as not from shanghai but 30th march splended ace coming from shanghai doe think ever gonna get mine 5 months 1st April I've been waiting
 
I ordered a ZS EV on the 06/08/21 on the Motability scheme, like most people on this forum have been waiting ever since. I have started to believe that car buyers are given priority over Motability customers sorry about the rant but I have given up😒
