MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Soooo I'm the lucky one who was told April, then September but is picking up my LR Trophy in Black this weekend (not rubbing it in, I feel everyone's pain).

When did you place the order. And is this the top range model. MG ZS EV trophy connect long range. And where your collecting fro. If you don't mind.
We placed the order for Long range trophy connect on 1st December and our original collection date was March. Now they saying August / September.

I've just been told from MG Wilson (South London), MG say another 6 - 12 months from now.

I ordered MG ZS EV long range SE back in January

....they offered to refund the deposit.

Are you willing to wait since it's been this long already, or did you have something else in mind? 12 months from now the mk3 will probably be on preview.

I hope this isn't the case for me as I am already starting to lose patience and this would be the metaphorical nail in the coffin for me and would also be the reason that I needed to go out and buy the M2 that I have been eyeing up instead

Update from perrys aylesbury on long range silver trophy ordered 6/1/22
After calling them today is the car has not been built yet probably will not see car till next year now

Ouch, hopefully they're able to source quicker for both of us, as Perrys seem to be on the losing side of MGs decisions in comparison to some other dealers.

My LR Trophy ordered on 30th November still hasn’t been built yet, grrrr.

I received my third pushback last night;
(Original date given in January when ordered) Date 1 = 29th May
Date 2 = 31st July
Date 3 = 30th August
New Date = 29th September with expected delivery date for the car to be at the dealership 16th September).

Reason for new delay is unable to fit in to production schedule so order pushed back. I have ordered MG ZS EV (LR version in blue standard spec)

It is getting annoying now.

Contacted dealer today by email for an update on my ZS LR trophy Battersea blue ordered November...received a call this afternoon telling me its been built and awaiting shipping...due July but could be earlier...Fingers crossed

Ordered LR SE in white on the 13th January from Hendy Exeter MG. First told delivery in April, then june/july. Then early August. Now they can't tell me when I will get my car.

called into wigan mg to drop my licence in to be put on the insurance finally got to sit in a trophy connect in red it looks bigger than the ice version in the blue was told shanghai was still in lock down so nothings getting shipped yet prob a load of bull s ive waited so long il have to just wait it out now best of luck to the rest still waiting spose im lucky i still have a car to use

You are being told September because of the 4 month thing. Anytime they check the system for an update, if there isn't one it pushes it back 4 months. Heard this from two dealers at different ends of the country.

What does that mean in reality though? Is that the earliest it would be? Or could it arrive earlier?

Just means not built yet the date just rolls on 4 months until built then shows shipping

No idea really. Only thing we can take from it is other people have been told the same then received their car before that date.
