Towing problem sorted. It allowed me to reverse this morning after receiving a warning bleep reversing camera not operating with an abnormal alarm message: The Park Distance Status of your vehicle is abnormal on my MG Electric app. I can live with that.

Just had a swan neck tow bar fitted. Fitter said they updated the software for towing, but car unable to go in reverse with trailer attached. Any ideas? Thanks

Yes tried, locking/unlocking. I think my point is that my home charger is 100% reliable, I have never had any charging issues with it at any time, but there is always some issue with a motorway charger. Either the card reader wont work, or the car connects or wont start charging, or finishes...

I just had my first service and asked for the software upgrade to accept Tesla chargers. Main reason being that on many motorway services there are many Tesla stations available but all other CCS chargers occupied. Do I need to download Tesla app? If so which one? Thanks

I had a test drive of the 2024 reg MG5 and felt it was great improvement on my PFL. I am still in negative equity on my PCP agreement with my nearly 4yr old car, so have decided to hand it back. I am now suitably impressed with the reliability of these cars so decided to buy rather than lease.
