If you are charging at the time then you can see the drop in KWh in the app when the heater comes on.

Used to have the same issue. Recent batch of updates sorted it. 2.5 no longer causes warnings.

LKA has nothing to do with R46 or any other infotainment update. MG and dealers aren't sharing information on what these updates are. But there are updates to the IPMA camera system and whatever ECU hosts the LKA feature.

Tesla are selling software packs & SaaS so have a very different business model. They would need to provide continuous updates to those products and their general software to support that.

Very little is covered for the full 7 years in the warranty. The software updates that they will provide likely be limited to bug fixes. Majority of these updates probably fall under: INFOTAINMENT, CONVENIENCE SYSTEMS & DRIVER AIDS. Which has 36 months cover.
