Yes, re-recorded some of the audio as it was very difficult to hear. Its still processing so quality isnt too high yet but should be 1080p by the morning.

Demos on track for mid Sept. The allocation for first customer batches will depend on whether they decide to give dealers 1 demo or 2 (ie 1 for showroom, 1 for demo). I expect we’ll get more information later this month.

Not necessarily true. Its likely there will be more LR Trophy's in the early batches (it helps with the residual value) but its also likely to the most popular so it all depends when you order. Ordering could open at any time and it will almost certainly be before the middle of September.

I guess the point to note is that the vast majority of people on this forum are awaiting ZS EV LR. There are many many cars coming and I expect September will see MG dethrone plenty of 'big players' in the SMMT figures. But they also have 5 other cars in the range and ultimately have 50,000+...

I have just been given the information on what ships are arriving in September and what's on them. Ship trackers are great for speculating. The good news is that there's a LOT of cars coming. I cant guaratee yours will be on it, and I cant tell you there's going to be the exact model/spec/colour...

It’s far simpler than that. MG want to sell as many cars as they physically can. Within reason, they care about volume whilst ensuring an EV mix means they avoid CAFE regulation fines. I would argue MG would rather fulfill every order for ZS EVs to free up their customer services team from...

My understanding is that MG 4 will come sooner than 5 facelift. As you say, plenty of current shape 5s still to come. Even for the earliest orders of the new 5, you’re likely looking into 2023

I think you’ll be surprised. Lots of people order a car these days on the strength of YouTube videos, press reviews and… value for money. I suspect by September, all these will be a massive tick in the box of MG 4

They could just launch it and say delivery in 12-18 months like other manufacturers? The fact they’ve got some cars is surely a bonus? Trust me, it’s frustrating as a dealer to have sporadic stock, nothing for ages and then waves, but it’s better than the alternative of nothing for ages… and...
