As with all the press and social media one has to take a lot of the news with a grain of salt. I often read the DM but I also read other newspapers, usually online these days. Just like other recent political divides some will never be persuaded.

I wonder if the charge setting in the car or the App was preventing the car from charging, then when the 12v battery was disconnected the charge setting defaulted to allow a "full charge". I only say this as my LR wouldn't charge on about 5 chargers I tried until I discovered the charge setting...

Is that your cost 24/7? My EDF std rate tariff right now Sat 10th 12:30 midday is 11.79p/kWh (at least according to our reader). This seems to vary from 45p down to 11ish so I charge at night usually.

If you have the new ZS EV I'm guessing you might inadvertently set the charge in the App to less than 100% in which case it will have stopped the charge. Worth a check?
