I recently posted a message on the forum about my MG ZS EV. It was 4 years old and before September had been a great car but after that it had spend 9 weeks at MG and 8 weeks on my drive. I kept having it back because MG couldn't find anything wrong with it and a week or 2 later it would break...
Hi all,
I bought my MG ZX EV in December 2019 and until August 2019 I was very pleased with it. However, since September 2023 it has spent 11 weeks at the dealership in Redditch and I have had the vehicle for 8 weeks. Not what I bought the car for. All the lights come on when I attempt to start...
I went to Chester Zoo last August which is about 100 miles from home. There were over 20 charge points and no facility to pre book which is ok. The charge was £3 for 3 hours but of course being a zoo you are likely to be there for that length of time anyway. I was very impressed.

Personally I'm with Sido on the gadget front. I went to an IAM meeting...
Thank you, that sounds reasonable. My friend, who was in the car with me at the time drives a Volvo and assures me that this does not happen with his car, so thought I would ask. I'll stick to using it on the motorway.

I've never used cruise control in any vehicle before but decided to try it out on my ZS EV last week. I was driving along an A road with a 50 mph speed limit which was a bit bendy at times but nothing that bendy to necessitate not driving at the speed limit. While driving along this...
My ZS EV has just had it's second service and after driving 14000 miles the tread has only reduced by 2mm. There is also very little wear and tear on brake pads etc. This shown other ways in which an electric vehicle can be cheaper to run in more ways than one. I was well impressed.
It is the IAM course. I took my test in August and am now looking at taking the Masters next. I really enjoyed the course too. Have yhou put in for your test yet?
