Big shot in the dark that anyone else has experienced this, but worth a go.
My drive home involves a short blast up a dual carriageway from a set of lights, bit of a Grand Prix to be honest.
Twice now I’ve floored the car up it and it’s resolutely refused to do more than 71-75mph.
It’s not a power thing, my Leaf with less power would do a lot more.
But, foot to the floor, 71mph (ish) !?!?
I also noticed that when I pulled off the main dual carriageway onto a slip road, it started accelerating again….
Naturally I suspected I’d inadvertently triggered some speed limiter thing, but I checked that and it was fine.
Cruise is off too.
Very weird….

I had it the other day when I tried the car in sport mode .
Found that it doesn't like sport mode and keeps going into snow .Although the driver display shows sport .
Have a look .It may be that yours is doing something similar

I’ve never deviated from normal mode

Checked this morning under ‘pilot’
The speed limiter function was off.
The intelligent speed limiter function is a sub menu of speed limiter, so shouldn’t come into play if that’s off.
So I’m none the wiser why my car wouldn’t do more than 70mph, foot to the floor.
I’ll try again tonight.

This is probably something you have already checked but it's not in eco mode is it? Last week I discovered a Renault Zoe doesn't exceed 63mph when in eco mode. That was fun on the motorway!
