MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65to75mph

Took ours out today at motorway speeds for the first time (on an abandoned airfield that I own obviously). 66-77 = vibe but not horrendous. Definitely eases as you decelerate e.g. slowing from 77 the vibe dies away quickly, pick back up before 66 and it starts again.

Definitely noticeable compared to ID.3, as is tyre noise. Not noticeable enough to reject but I'm going to tell lease company about it and follow steps others have mentioned here, even if it is wasted endeavor. One of us will hopefully be the straw that broke the camel's back!
 
In France, it seems that the Xpower models delivered since the beginning of February do not have the vibrations...

So to be clear m8 in January you said, and I quote

"Vibration, that's a big problem. In France, owners are starting to launch legal proceedings.

MG France don't have any solutions for steering wheel vibrations"

Do you have any evidence for your latest post?
 
In my Subaru, i can cause the same feeling by going on and off power, it has a sloppy drive line , meaning for a second the front wheels are slightly out sync to the front, result is a shudder. In the xpower, i feel it more as a constant shudder.

Well well well, looky here, Kia EV6 GT , same issue !

 
Anyone got the time to work out what the common theme is between the brands/ any that don't have vibrations at all?

I did say elsewhere m8, that I wouldn't be surprised if they get the motors and driveshafts all from the same place???

I'm stripping and greasing my rear brakes tomorrow, and will take down the undertray to get a better look at the motor.

Just to see if there might be a maker's mark other than SAIC on it.

Aye I remember at least one other brand or car at least that someone on here had said had had similar issues- I'm sure Google will throw up enough to get a decent idea.

Was just going to play ex-VW fan boy and say the ID.3 was fine so wondered if all VAG the same, but Enyaq appear to be exactly the same as MG4! See attached:

The plot thickens...

If you've not already searched "electric car vibration 65 mph" I would strongly recommend it. It's basically a list of forums for just about every EV, all complaining about the same thing.

Someone somewhere must have worked this out
 
I've just checked in with my dealer - they're still waiting to hear back from MG on next steps after all previous attempts to resolve the issue have failed.
* Reminder - so far we've tried steering wheel damper, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, complete wheel swap (for a Trophy LR).
 
I have noticed all test drives had the charge in the 60% ish range. I wonder .... the inverters is what im leaning on now. I suspect its syncro between the two.
 
On a longer drive tonight, I discovered that the vibration doesn't care about being in dual motor mode or single remote mode in Eco. I can definitely feel the vibration coming through the steering wheel and coming from the front of the vehicle. When listening for sounds in the back there is nothing. I can sort of find a little ease up on the vibration, when there is neither acceleration or deceleration. I have seen a recent issue with the Hyundai ionic 5 AWD, where it turned out to be the wheel bearings. Something of which we have not tried yet. In the Hyundai, they changed out the motors. They did complete balances of the tires steering etc. Then they put a device which senses vibrations in different parts of the vehicle, and then use that to identify where the vibration was coming from. Quite possibly we might be able to solve this with a fairly cheap solution. If it doesn't indeed fix my car, I will then be looking for MG to pay me for this process.
