I have a new Ccu fitted. Charged the car last night. Set the car to charge to 80%. Got up this morning and it charged to 100%. That will fame the battery any suggestions?
Was the setting still showing 80% and the car had just ignored it or had the setting changed to 100%? I find that my setting sometimes changes itself from 80 to 100% for no reason. I haven't found a way of preventing that.

Yes. As a minimum I recall @tsedge and @FiferMG4 have had new CCUs. And @tsedge also got a software update to "fix" that 80% charge limit issue, which seems to have broken AC charging completely.

So the moral seems to be - wait until the software issue is resolved, and in the meantime set a charge limit in your EVSE app rather than the car/iSmart.

It is suggested as the normal daily charge level for the NMC battery pack (which your ER also has), with monthly charges to 100% and allow to balance (to help the BMS). Don't charge to 100% and then leave the car sitting idle for a week, but there's no harm in charging to 100% if you have a longer journey planned for the next day.

Yup mine too. I noticed this seems to happen since we've had the latest app.

No it won't. Use the app to set the 'schedule charging' to 'charging to target battery level' on the 'end time' and set your target level to 80%. Always check before charging

You may be able to set the charger to stop at 80%
Mine has ‘set amount’ charges - add £ or miles or kWh but not a battery % but yours might.

That was the issue many Trophy owners faced after getting a new CCU. I think @tsedge then got software updates to "fix" this ... which then bricked the AC charging again. 🙄

I've noticed that scheduled charging has disappeared from the app, is this the same for everyone or have others found it somewhere new?
On latest Android app:

100% any time you like is no big issue as long as you don't regularly leave it sitting like that for days. But it needs sorting. Didn't some other people who had the CCU replacement have this problem as well?
I always charge at home to 100%, I need the range and use my car daily so it never sticks at 100% for more than 12hrs, I only stick to the 80% rule with the faster chargers. I am up to 29,000 miles and the last service showed no issues for battery health. So I agree with what you say here. And the manual states that periodic slow charging to 100% is required to allow for battery charge equalization.
