Why... are the face-lift models no good or something? Current issue aside, I'm doing over 1,000 miles a week and my cars brilliant for work.

Yes. This new issue happened yesterday early afternoon

It's the mk1... you have to push the middle grill in to access the charger, so I'm saying it's pre face-lift, due to it not having the face-lift range of 273 miles.

It charged this afternoon but kicked me off at about 22kw... since then, every attempt has been void

The charger goes in as normal. Usually I get one crunchy click sound prior to it charging, but now it's doing it 3 or 4 times with no charge. The dashboard says connected but not charging, so it's defo connected

I've got a 3 pin plug trickle charger at home and it's doing the same thing there, so I've got 60 miles until it dies, it won't charge anywhere

BP Pulse, 50kw ccs, after the first 2 green ticks, there's a series of clicking noises, 3 of them, similar to that of a cricket rubbing it's legs together. I then wait 15 or 20 seconds, at which point the charge starts, but immediately shuts down. I can get a charge using the type 2 socket...

Regardless... its every BP unit I've used and it doesn't matter what the starting level is, it just gets to about 20-21kWh and cuts out, showing error code 8c. There was a woman in a 69 plate zs a few days ago near Heathrow and the same happened to her.

Happened to me, stuck on talksport for a couple of months. Took it to a dealer and they sorted it under warranty

Got an account with BP pulse and use their 50kW charge units. Every single time I plug in, the car takes roughly 20kWh and then kills the charge, with am error code 8c. Is this happening to anyone else?

I have no idea how a 12v battery can die in 5 days... never happened to me before. As for the blade, no idea either, it should be in there for sure, car is barely a year old and the second fob at home has never been used. I've seen online that you can cut a new blade using data from the vin...
