My standard range MG4 thinks it’s a long range - every time I charge it, it goes to around 230 miles and this time 245! The trip range resets on every journey and the new found mileage drops pretty quickly after a couple of journeys- but an interesting phenomenon not too worried about but...

Surely if your electric tools keep tripping and get too hot - you should check them also for faults. You shouldn’t rely on the fuse tripping to save the day - overloads can cause wire fires especially in older properties, before the trip activates.

Most of the EV chargers in my village in Essex seem to be Pod point so after checking with neighbours went for that - had it 3 months and does what it says on the tin.

Update on the above: Did 2 mile journey each way Reading shows 97% 217 miles left Output show 3.1 mls/kw So interesting it’s on dropped 6 miles on a 4 mile trip.No heating and low lights Info shows same on ismart as well

Probably been mentioned before but after full charging range shows 223 miles. Have a MG4 SE SR and have been fully charging every week or so when at 40% low. ( Sad sod who doesn’t get out much!). I usually keep charging till low watt shows on smart meter or when scheduled charge auto shuts down...

Well it couldn’t possibly be an MG4????…. Err perhaps.🤣🤣
