    Charging Speed Decrease

Thanks tsedge, it was only myself charging, no other vehicles...the screen did say that the car was controlling the charger. I did have this issue on a Tesla charger last week, where I only got 68kW there too

    Charging Speed Decrease

Good Morning All I have an X Power so normal 64kW battery and was charging CCS DC yesterday evening at 138kW on a Kempro Osprey charger. Suddenly, there was a few of the usual clicks from the car, the spring type sound and the charge went down to 68kW. There was no real reason for the charge...

VIBRATION ISSUE - hot off the press!

Nah, not doing anything as another post here on our X Power group stated that the Salesman told him that there is a software update as both motors are not in sync...I'm just going to wait it out

    Cleaning Matte Green Paint.

Maybe it's just me over worrying, the other side is the same, it's where the rear door curves down, look at an angle and it looks like it shines, the rest of the car is fine

    Cleaning Matte Green Paint.

Hi All I've washed my car today and used matte friendly snow foam and shampoo. Is it just me? There seems to be a reflection on the rear door panel, does it look like the paint has become reflective. I haven't used any polish. Thanks Seamust1000

    X Power Vibes Fix?

Putting mine at 41psi has completely lowered the vibe/hum...it's still there slightly, there is no cattle gridding, which was an in and out sort of vibration. I've also noticed that driving normally, the car is a lot smoother...road noise is less too. I still want MG to fix my car though or I...

    X Power Vibes Fix?

Vospers Plymouth is now my nearest dealer so hopefully they will be OK....I always feel that you don't get 100% tip top service if you haven't bought the car from that dealer. I also hope that they know about the hum/vibe situation.

    X Power Vibes Fix?

I feel a bit stitched up now, even though Howard's have never contacted me since I picked up my car in Oct 23. Either they have lost the franchise or they have decided they don't want the franchise anymore🤷‍♂️

    X Power Vibes Fix?

I did say that I'm not an engineer...does it show?🙄🤣

    X Power Vibes Fix?

So, a question(I'm no engineer), the tyre pressure sticker looks like it states the same pressure for all models of MG4...though the X Power is heavier with the extra motor. Why are the stated pressures the same for all models? Also, at load it states 41psi so the tyres can be run at 41psi...

    X Power Vibes Fix?

Autoglym Fast Glass is very good for getting rid of bird shite from the matte green paint aswell😁 I use these and for the life of me, I cannot remember where I got them, it may been Home Bargains for £1🤷‍♂️. They are great for the dashboard and if I get water marks from rain dripping in on the...

    X Power Vibes Fix?

I will give the car a longer test on Friday but I don't notice any worse drive over rough roads than I had before...I do notice a much more quieter drive, hum/tyre/road noise has disappeared...the vibration is now very minimal

    X Power Vibes Fix?

Inflate your tyres to 40/41psi cold and give it a test

    X Power Vibes Fix?

I'm going on a longer journey on Friday so will give it another test. I also noticed that the mls/kwh has increased too, I'm sure the vibe/hum must have been causing some kind of friction that must have made the car work harder.

    X Power Vibes Fix?

I'll concur with Bricktop, I increased the tyre pressure to 41psi cold on all 4 tyres. I have tested on the M5 and the vibration is now very very slight...the hum has gone and there is very little road noise🤷‍♂️.

Yeah....same bloody Oct 24...I collected my June 23 build Oct 23🤣

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65to75mph

I think MG have delivered a mish mash of dates when it's comes to delivery, some later builds and some earlier builds with the issue...I think it stems from dealers over ordering at the time, having loads in stock and then registering them...Sept 23 builds registered in Jan 24 etc I had a piece...
