Fantastic update - thanks for the affirmation that it was probably doing the balancing and I shut it off early! Will keep eye on the lights on the charge port as this will confirm if its working or not, regardless of what the screen or app might be saying.

I wasn't getting that screen this morning when trying to force a charge, either it didnt need it or I'm doing something incorrect.

OK so that didn't quite go to plan last night! The car was at 18% charge I set the car to accept a 100% battery charge I set 'Intelligent Octopus Go' to add 80%, assuming it would stop at 98% and so i could do the last 2% during daylight hours so i could see if the car showed a 'Balancing...

So potentially using intelli octopus go might stop it balancing.

From the info I've gleaned having asked similar question, about once a month if possible.

Thanks Dewi - can this be done at 80% or should it be done at 100%? Also, I was under the impression the Zappi stops charging once it reaches the desired percentage, and would ignore any necessity for balancing or is that wrong? Thank you :)

OK i managed to get the plug out and this is how, as it may help others. I used a piece of plastic laminating sheet, its super thin but stiff enough not to crumple. I rolled it in a tube, same diameter as the socket and managed, with a bit of twisting, to push it through and obviously get...

Yeah it twists a bit but not much. Properly locked solid. Might be a dealer job 😕
