No I meant long range. You can change it to 80% but on the other hand they allegedly say 100% charge is preferable.

Me too. I like to keep charge between 20 and 80% because the first 20% and the last 20% take a lot more power. If MG recommend 100% charging, then why promote 80% for the LR. Just saying…..

SR gen 2 trophy. By the way, I can’t reset the charge limit back to 80%, is this feature available on this model. The sales rep at the dealer said it was.

Mine too, usually 1 mph under the target but I can live with that. I like the increments of 5 mph.

I use DAB but my ZS Trophy decides that I should be listening to FM all by itself!

The first 20% and the last 20% need a lot more power to charge, therefore it is the most economical way. I then do a 100% charge once a month to balance the cells. Mine is a second Gen ZS Trophy.

I found the broken chain link in settings on the vehicle’s screen but when I click on it,all that does is to refer you to the app. I then go to the app and click on the MG badge icon as suggested, and all I get is the bind button, no unbind button. Was Kafka Chinese, I wonder (writer of Catch 22...

I have also lost connectivity and the app is saying please bind your vehicle first. When I try to do it, the app tells me it is already bound. One solution suggested is to unbind car and start again, but I can’t find the way to unbind. Any suggestions?

I wouldn’t have black again, looks great when washed and spruced up. But"…..every micro scratch shows up, have tried scratch cover but only lasts a few days.

That seems to be within the normal parameters Steve. Mine mostly runs 1 mph slower than the set target.

As an advanced driver, which I am not, you are taught to touch the brake pedal when you stop so that the brake light illuminates to warn the driver behind that you have stopped. It’s a courtesy thing really.

I agree with you, braking with the pedal should be the exception, not the rule.

I have have similar problems on my Gen 2 ZS trophy. It’s been back to the dealer twice, they say there is no dead reckoning on this model. They rebooted the software but no improvement . Woe betide you if you deviate from the advised route, it doesn’t know whether it wants a s**t or haircut...
