Regarding national speed limit of 60 it applies to single carriageways on open roads outside of Towns and built up areas and I must be one of the few that my car reads the signs well. With regards to the maximum speed limit of 70 mine displays the correct sign indicating that.
I treat mine like an ICE car, when the petrol/diesel warning light comes on you start thinking of adding fuel. When I reach 20% charge left (ignoring mileage left in GOM) I know it is time to consider topping up the charge.
Mine took 3 weeks but they had received 26 vehicles at once and only had one 7kw charger so had to charge all vehicles prior to collection and, when I picked mine up was on 99% charge.
Just received this offer from Amazon by email, not sure if any good price wise or if just for Prime members, but thought would share also says if you live in property eligible for OZEV grant the installer would apply for it for you...
When Northern Powergrid were at my property the engineer informed me the same about £140 plus VAT for upgrade but also told me to wait until April as they were receiving new funding for upgrades so should be free from then on.
IMO the ZS is a brilliant car, I've had it since June 1st and love it but realistically you cannot compare both cars totally different brackets cost wise. So I think the answer will always be if you can afford the Tesla it's a no brainer which car to select.
I love it, it has been on since got my ZS June 1st and has worked like a dream and never once has any oncoming drivers flashed me to say turn high beam off. Also as N2STY states it is a very good and bright high beam.
Rolec plug and charge at my workplace is free to use but I had to be issued with RFID card from reception allocated to me personally to keep for current and future use. Wouldn't work until I had the card even though free charger.
