So Mrs D and I went to look at a MG4 yesterday and after some pondering, we've decided to stay with our current car.
The car itself is lovely (for its price point), but the sloping rear window means there isn't a huge amount of room for the dog.
Hopefully SAIC/MG will replace the HS in the...
They would be rather foolish to cut the cable whilst it's in use....
The bigger issue is a tethered charger cables which can be cut when the owner is away.
Although it's a bigger faff, a non tethered wall box is the way to go (in my humble opinion!).
I still can't work out how the matts are £99?!
Maybe they are made from unicorn fur....
The 8 weeks sounds about right, there is literally a boat load coming over, should arrive in Bristol in around 3 weeks.
Perceived quality is always a tricky one, as it tends to be in the eye of the beholder.
I'll be trading in a car that now retails for £44k, as such, my perceived 'quality-ometer' is lower as a result.
I can't understand why all OEMs don't switch to Googles native software?
The amount of money manufacturers are spending on their own systems is eye watering!
back on topic
It'll be interesting to see which way the pricing goes once the MG4 hits the ground, will SAIC put the price up or will...
On the plus side, there are literally ship loads coming over as we speak!
We just need MG to get a bit better a processing the cars when they arrive...
It does seem that SAIC UK aren't able to handle the number of arrivals that they've had recently.
It looks like, to me, that they've prioritised ZS and MG5 orders ahead of the MG4 launch - whether you believe that to be right or wrong depends on which model you are waiting for!
If SAIC want to...
It's obviously difficult to second guess what MG are thinking (!) but maybe dealerships with the bigger pockets are getting more models?
Clearly Waylands have shifted 21 models, assuming everyone completes their order.
My dealer has just told me that their cars are arriving on Friday, so again, next week is on the cards - it will be tight if MG want them as September cars rather than October cars!
Waylands Oxford and Newbury are advertising that they have 6 cars left out of their original allocation of 26.

Not sure what those 6 are, but there is a 'enquire today' link on the page.
EDIT: It's now down to 5 remaining....
