I assume you're talking new LR v 2nd hand SR? As at the time it wasn't that big a difference when they were selling both models. I think at most the gap was around £5K if you looked at Excite SR compared to Exclusive LR Or if you looked at Affinity deals v Joe Public.

Just had my KERS update done, partner followed me home and confirmed the brake light operation too so that's all sorted. Don't know if it's just me but also the heating controls seemed snappier on the screen. Possibly in the update too or an update that was due on the car already?

If there was I didn't spot it, found my pack of fuses and extraction tool in the end, dashcam wired in, just need to get the time and work out the routing for the rear one now.

So called my local MG garage they've said wait for the letter. I assume as a new buyer I'll still get one and they won't assume dealer had already applied it? For now I'll stick to KERS2 I guess.

Hopefully picking this up at the weekend. Deposit paid yesterday, credit agreed this morning. Dealer rushing through registration and in to workshop for checks.

Cancelled my order with Toomey so forfeited the £250 deposit but will save that in 2 months of diesel. Hopefully picking up black Exclusive LR this weekend, believe they have one more in stock.
