I may be wrong here (often have been!) but I think the car just reads the speed from the road signs but that means that it picks up any "random" road signs that we may disregard, such as speed restrictions for heavy vehicles etc. My son has exactly the same problem with his Tesla!!

Yeah, go for it. Faint heart never won fair maiden. Or might it be she who is pointing out your recklessness when you are being taken to the next charger on the back of the recovery truck?? :ROFLMAO: If yo're going by motorway, you're not going to be too far from a wee emergency top-up, anyway.

Oh, That's a tough one in this cold weather!! How many passengers? Heater - then possibly windscreen wipers, lights, hills and of course what speed are you aiming to drive at. I'm going to say it'll be too tight so maybe factor in aiming for a rapid top up around the 160-180 mile mark.

Thanks @IanMG It's just like living through the Beeps in my mk1 ZS EV a couple of years ago!! But the Comfort 2 update got rid of them! Maybe this update will sort out the radio issues.

Thanks @petersneddon. I was initially going to dismiss your suggestion, but I noticed yesterday that I received a text message and my radio switched off. Stranger and stranger!!!

Did you have the AC on? That usually automatically reduces the GOM by about 10%, but your variance is less than that.

@Krazeypopz If you're on the A55 from Manchester there's a charge point at Euro Garages Singing Kettle, Holywell CH8 8RF, just before Prestatyn too. You'll be fine. If you see your range dropping just switch off the air con/heating and drive in Eco, That'll give you an instant 10% more mileage.

Hi, We used a charge point just off the A1 at Bellford near Bamburgh. It was pretty good but not much in the area to do.
