Hi, I have a 2021 SR Excite and you can not use it with the smart app. You need the face lift. Octopus can not talk to any MG's as they won't release the API. What EVSE (charge point) do you have?

No it needs a part and 3 hours labour to fit.

If you can get a 12V booster to allow you turn turn the car on into ready mode then see what the 12V is showing on the dash. While charging from the HV battery it should show around 14V. What was the voltage showing and was it slowly dropping?

I haven't watched the podcast from last night but did it say who is at fault, the Tesla Supercharger or MG not following the CCS standards?

If there is a standard for DC CCS charging then the MG5 SR really should work on a Tesla Supercharger

My SR Excite was in for the Radio Module Disconnect issue and I asked them about Tesla Superchargers and was told that I can't get an update unless I buy a new part at £300+ vat and about 3 hours labour. So about £1k

My screen has gone off a few times in the last 3 years but it comes back on after what seems like a reboot and show the MG logo.

Mine has done it 3 times and is in again next week.

What did you dealer say about the Radio module being replaced if it keeps failing?

I don't have a SC near me but was hoping to use them on the way to Scotland later in the year. What happens if you haven't got the correct software? Does it brick the car or just not work? Is there an update for the PFL 2021 SR?

I swapped mine for Michelin Cross Climates. Much more grip in the wet.

I had mine swapped around at the 1st 15k service. Just remember the sensors will be in the wrong positions.

Did they fail after a while or not working when you powered up? My PFL didn't go into ready mode correctly, no green light, the car started and I drove off but no wipers. I had to stop turn off lock the car then start again and it was fine.

I have just had my MG5 SR Excite in for an MOT at just over 50k milage and using an OBD reader got the SOH showing 98.63%

Are the settings on your Zappi similar to these?
