No, it’s an adaptor which connects between the type 1 charging plug and the car, so your always going to have the join exposed to the elements

Well it is ip67 but I have had it trip the charger out when it was caught in a heavy shower , to me it’s still an extra connection however water proof it is

Ohme charger, yes i have done that a couple of times with the ohms and the granny. Not for a few months though

Yes it did reduce power , noticed after about 10 mins , then it was quite noticeable with cars lining up behind me, you could feel everything slowing down quite a bit. I was getting about 35-40 mph by the time we got home

Quite update, garage just phoned, they swopped the part with a new one and all seems to be working, so they’ve order a new one with they say is in stock so should have the car back by weekend! Watch this space
