Bought ottocast via indie group. Not impressed didn't connect reliably. Swapped to AA Wireless and use Waze its loads better but not 100% with it crashing the infotainment system occasionally
Google speed limits only display if Google enable it for that piece of road at that time. I travel on the same road daily, sometimes its on sometimes its off so I use Waze now purely as an aide memoire on roads I don't know and haven't seen any speed markers
If you want to move from android auto hands free call back to wireless android auto sat nav press the red telephone symbol at the bottom of the screen. If you're wanting to go back to the inbuilt satnav press the 'car' button on the centre dadh and select satellite navigation

When it's dark go out for a short drive Put it in kers 3 drive at around 40mph, assuming that's the max speed limit for the road! Then take your foot off the throttle and look at the back window using the rear view mirror and if it's been done you'll see the high level brake light come on.
