    Steering column bearing

Yes the lower steering column. I never looked for parts for the brakes myself as I have sold the MG. Only reason was I needed more range.Took 6 weeks to sell seems no one wants them at the moment.

    Steering column bearing

Hi, finally got it done under warranty, they also said my brake pads were 90% left on the front, 70% left on the rear and the discs were starting to corrode. The car has been stood 2 months. So I expect them to be rusty. They quoted £882 to replace. But they are absolutely fine. Very pricey for...

    Steering column bearing

May I ask was this done under warranty? My uj has failed too, dealership said warranty would cover if it was manufacturing fault, not wear and tear. I do not think it is wear and tear it has just failed. Thanks

    Steering problem

Hi all, so my steering started clunking when turning the steering wheel, I looked and found the universal joint had failed. I asked MG if this was covered by the warranty, they said if it was a manufacturing fault it would be, also I was within the 3 year window, I thought it was a 7 year...

    Second hand market

Hi, just wondering if any other members have had trouble selling an MG ZS EV? Mine sold to justevs on motorway 6 weeks ago it is still sat on my drive. Justevs made excuses for not coming to collect it, then stopped any correspondence. Now on Autotrader the cheapest on there and no interest, do...

    1st service cost, seems expensive!

My 1st year service was £90, 2nd year was £230, with cabin filter change, key fob battery change, which they did not do, and brake fluid change. The 1st year is just a general look around. I think they are trying to con you.

    2nd service

I agree, at the last service I was told the ns front tyre was dangerous as the wire was showing on the inside, I looked when I got home it was perfect, no mention on todays service. This is why I checked everything before I took the car today.

    2nd service

No, the dealer I normally use has gone out of business, so I was in a rush to get it serviced to keep the warranty. If that is the price all dealers charge ok, but it's no cheaper than an ice car.

    2nd service

    Yes I knew.
