I had a similar issue with Glyn Hopkin MK. It took weeks, and 2 return trips to the dealership to get it rectified. I will definitely get it checked on the spot when the car is next serviced.

@siteguru Not sure about other tariffs, but on my Octopus Go, there is no longer a loading on the day time rate to compensate for the 9p 12.30 - 04.30 one. I do still run my power hungry appliances overnight, whenever practicable though.

As far as I am aware, you can only have one account for the car. Two (or more) people can log into the account using the same log in details. When one person logs in, the others are automatically logged out.

@Gordon I have a standard range, and the remote heating works fine. Personally, I haven’t had any issues with the iSMART app but it must be very irritating for those who have.

I am on iOS, and the infotainment has always given the opportunity to listen to/reply to messages and WhatsApp via CarPlay.

@WonkoTheSaneUK - yes, it’s odd - I don’t know why they didn’t use the usual icon for ‘settings’

Just a thought - I deleted the petrol station option; not sure if that would make a difference to the app showing EV stations? I doubt it, but worth a try.

@mg4 On the other thread, it was suggested to: clear the cache log out close the app restart your phone This action reinstated ‘battery heating’ on the MG ZS Maybe worth trying to see if it reinstates steering wheel heating on your MG4?

@Lovemyev Ah, okay! I have the standard range, so have not had to use the percentage settings. I stand corrected.

I have a Carlinkit 3, which is just for Apple CarPlay. It’s excellent. There is another Carlinkit version for AA, and one which works for both.

Whatever scheduled charging time is set in the car, is mirrored in the app and vice versa.

@Emgie 4 I have to disagree slightly. According to my service schedule, updates to modules are part of a standard MG service.

@Mick b My Carlinkit 3 now connects automatically, and I have a Nextbase dash cam connected too. I turned off the Bluetooth connection to the car (as suggested by @seamust1000) which sorted out my issues.

@JonnyG if you release the EPB, you should be able to complete your manoeuvre without needing to put on your seatbelt.

@seamust1000 I had been having awful issues with my Carlinkit 3, but reading your tip, it’s now working flawlessly in my ZS. Thank you so much!

My app shows only kms, and i have the latest iOS 17.0.3 No tab to change between metric/imperial Very frustrating, but at least the infotainment screen shows remaining range in miles.

I bought a spare wheel for my ZS from a forum member. I have also bought Tyreweld, as recommended by another forum member, rather than use the stuff supplied with the car. Tyreweld can be ‘washed out’ and the puncture repaired, I have been told, whereas the MG ‘gunk’ apparently renders the tyre...

@elias It sounds like you are getting on fine now. I have always reversed into garages, parking spaces etc. It’s so much easier than driving in as you have excellent visibility, courtesy of your mirrors.
