Battery balancing and battery redistribution refer to techniques that improve the available capacity of a battery pack with multiple cells (usually in series) and increase each cell's longevity. A battery balancer or regulator is an electrical device in a battery pack that performs battery balancing. Circuitry that includes designs to balance cell charges during battery pack recharging may be either active or passive in its design, and is most often found in lithium-ion batteries, e.g., for laptop computers, electrical vehicles. etc.

    Disconnecting 12v pb battery - 12v socket fuse

    Is there any concerns with disconnecting the 12v pb cell that people have experienced? Aside from ensuring isolation of both ends, shorts, etc.... following user manual guidance of course. Has anyone had any issues with reboot/reconnect. Memory issues after such? Anything else?

    IPK Display blank

    Yesterday after charging the car at home when I got in the IPK display was blank. I can select both Drive & Reverse and the car operates as expected, but with many systems not working I suspect. Indicators are silent for example. I tried a software reboot, push and hold Home, to see if it...
