Is the percentage of charge shown relative to the 61.1 kWh max size of the battery, or the 57.7 kWh quoted usable size ?

Probably the usable, there will be a buffer at the top.

Yep, it's the useable size. The extra there is to (appear to?) extend the working life of the battery, I think as cells degrade the spare capacity will be used to maintain a '100%' charge.

The range on the GOM @ 100% what would that be based on average energy consumed or average energy + average regen?

The operative word is 'useable'. That's the bit that you can use. The rest is a buffer of hypothetical capacity that's never actually used at both ends of the battery voltage range. Although I'm fairly convinced that there is a hidden part of the usable battery above 100% given that it carries on charging for a while after it claims to be full and doesn't drop to 99% for a few miles.

Of course battery chemistry is more complicated than that as capacity and resistance change depending on the temperature and current draw so you can sometimes struggle to gain access to all the energy stored, and other times it's more readily available.

Assuming it’s the same as on the ZS, the obd2 data shows that there are 2 State Of Charge data items. 1 is based on the full nominal battery capacity (on ZS 44.5kwh), the 2nd is based on the usable battery capacity - this is the SOC that is shown to you.
