1st Charge Advice

As an experienced EV owner, and battery electric specialist, there is truth in most of the posts here. If you absolutely want the best battery health in 6/10 years from now , then a regime of 20-80% AC charging is ideal. If you are a normal user then accept the few % degradation in 8 years time and just charge it to whatever. The cars Battery Management System is designed to take care of this. Ideally a monthly AC charge that goes to 100% and kept there will balance the cell voltages and optimize the range. A Rapid DC charge occasionally is good for cell chemistry optimization. My car has not had a balance charge in 9 months and is mostly Rapid charged, it is fine. Just enjoy and don't fret.

Hi Gkay, enjoy your new EV and like others have said don't need to worry about anything overly special just use the car as normal and charge when convenient or needed. Cheers from downunder.
