Just looking at my home EV charging cost for the whole year of 2022, total £160. 1892kWh @8.5p per kWh, through Octopus.

Have you done the sums to confirm that your total usage is still cheaper vs the standard cap rate (£0.3396 ... 33.96p)?

As I have solar & batteries, I rarely use the grid, but I would say it would work out cheaper, interesting thought though.
