Anyone actually found any that work? I can find ones but always get 7KW cant find any info its it the limitations of the charger cable?

Hey, I have 2 car chargers, 1 from the garage and one from someone else, both each time i plug them in charges at 7kw on any charger, im guessing they are limited to that, is there any way to check to see what the limits are on them. Theres some cable with numbers etc on it but dont know what...

The MG cars are only wired for single phase. If you look at the connection on the car only L1 N E have a connection on them. L2 and L3 does not, so it does not matter what ac charger you plug into, single phase or three phase it will only charge on single phase and at 7kW on a 22kW charger and 3.5kW on a 11kW three phase charger. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble.

Basically 7kw is your max unless you use a DC fast charger.

Yes. Continental MGs (i.e not UK or Ireland)

One of the things I'll miss from the Zoe is the range of AC chargers it supports.
In my experience the 22kw was actually much faster than DC charging in the upper percent of charging.
