The MG dealer told me the battery is LFP but I couldn't find any official confirmation. Can you confirm that it is LFP? Thanks.

The MG4 offers two main types of battery: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) and Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC). The Standard Range model uses the LFP battery, while the Long Range, Extended Range, and XPower models utilize the NMC battery.

The 49kWh battery is LFP ... and is probably the same physical battery pack as the LFP 51kWh battery but merely derated, so the 49 and 51 models will probably get the same range (under the same conditions of weather, terrain and driving styles).
