My mg5 lr pfl is in for its 4th service today (it had covered 23,000 miles from new)

Should the reduction gearbox oil be changed on this service

Great car. Mine worked hard for me during my three year tenure. Your mileage isn’t huge but fourth service due to time past ? For all the oil the “box” will hold a change at this or the next service would be no bad idea I reckon.

Wasn't done on my 4th service and it's not on the schedule.

As I suspected but it certainly worked hard for me at the traffic light “launches” and dragging all my camping stuff and roof tent around.
