I've drove a few electric cars and I don't think I've noticed this on any of them before. Is it normal that when you first set off and the handbrake is on you can feel the switch in the accelerator pedal? Usually feel it on the auto hold function as well. It's. FL mg5 long range if it makes a difference.

Is it the accelerator action not being smooth or the actual pull away not being smooth ? With either handbrake on (or autohold active) then there is a little judder/jolt/jerk as the brake releases and car pulls away unless you manually release the brake before using the accelerator to do it for you. This is normal.

It's the actual pedal where I can feel the switch for the handbrake releasing. The car itself is smooth but it feels like a slight grinding through my foot as it's released.
Well I'm assuming it's the handbrake releasing as it only happens when I set off from park. Either way it's with in the 30 day period so I'm going to get it looked at and maybe ask to drive another one to check I'm not making it up.
