Android auto question

Hi. If using the in built sat nav, you get the additional instructions repeated on the smaller LCD display.

Does this also work if using Google maps on android auto?

No, the Instrument display only shows turn by turn navigation for the onboard navigation system (if installed). You can get album art and song information from Android Auto / Apple CarPlay on the Instrument display though.
