Anyone done a boot gas struts upgrade

Has anyone looked at more powerful gas struts for the boot so that when you press the boot unlock button the boot opens automatically?

I know you can do a DIY electric opener upgrade, but this seems simpler and just needs more powerful gas struts

Surely, if more powerful struts were used it would make the tailgate more difficult to close.

I’m not talking about anything super powerful, just a little more force than current struts

Hello, I purchased a Power Tailgate kit for my ZS EV from Alibaba at around £400, and it worked fine, except the convoluted rubber sleeve perished and the firm who I bought it from basically couldn't care less.
