Anyone got a message that the car will automatically reduce regeneration?

I friend of mine usually get a message telling that the car will reduce the regen. After that it's like having regen on the lowest setting, even if it's set to eco and 3. That doesn't happen to my car. Anyone know what's causing this?

If you mean the regenerative braking - this is where the car converts some movement back into electrickery so you don’t waste it as heat in the brakes.

If the battery can’t accept the charge it can’t do it. That means a fairly full battery or a cold battery and you’ll get a warning and have to use the “normal” brakes more.

Was their battery fully charged?
Regen puts power back into the battery but if the battery is above 95% the power has nowhere to go so the car reduces the amount it produces.
