You will find a few posts where people's door handle buttons become unreliable or stop working. It seems to be a common weakness.
My drivers door button started needing more than one press to work and eventually packed in altogether. The door handle is being replaced under warranty, but there is a wait for the part, then it needs to be sprayed to match the body colour. Still waiting for mine after 3 weeks.
