Anyone suffered from blood rain residue?

I think this has happened typically in the south, a nice Sahara sand collection on the bonnet.

Not seen any recently but it's pretty common up here in the Highlands to get that fine saharan sand appearing on the car.

It is certainly a 'feature' of the car that you get a collection in that bonnet scoop.

Is the car popular with meteorologists (or similar) for that reason?

No. The car is stuck at EMG for the 6th time to get the tbox fixed. MG UK technical are asking them to keep it.
So their white demo MG 4 is suffering

No pics, but the Black roof on the X Power looked bad. The Orange didn't look to bad at all. Obviously was as bad, just didn't look it. Anyway all gone now.

@Black estate, yours looks bad, spots of rain which then dry out leaving the sand. The rain our way was continuous which is why it ended up at that collection point on the bonnet as @Bam Bam also points out, it's on the window rubbers too and round the bottom of the tailgate glass where it meets the body.

There certainly seemed to be more in the south and south west by the replies. That's what the forecasts were predicting as well.

Its similar to German toilet bowl design for self analysis of extrusions of a human nature , I think I'll stop there.
