Are the left and right active grill shutters separate ?

I noticed that when I've just finished charging my Trophy at home, the passenger side active grill shutter is open but the driver's side one is not.
I thought they were all one shutter, are they separate left and right or is mine broken ?

Now you would think that they are linked together with one motor.
When I got my car the weather was cool and often the passenger side would be open and the driver side closed.
I thought that one was jammed open.

Now the weather is warmer with the aircon working harder they are both open.

I can't say for sure that one was jammed and has now freed its self until the weather starts to cool down

I think this is a trophy characteristic, for the LFP (SE) versions its a passive system?

If they are, I wonder in what circumstances would the left one open or the right one open alone ?

Update: The driver's side one, which wasn't opening, is now stuck open and not closing.
I've asked the dealer to take a look at it when it goes in for its second service in June.

Update: After advising the service manager that I had read that someone else had this problem and it turned out to be the wiring, they checked the wiring and found nothing untoward, but they did wiggle the connections around and it seems to have done the trick, it's working now.

There are 2 motors, 1 for the left, and 1 for the right active grilles. They are fed from a common fused supply.

I'd suggest only through a fault, I struggle to think why one would need to operate independently of the other.

That's what I thought, having two motors seems unnecessary, more to go wrong.

Yes you'd think one motor would do the job, here's a video of the grille working.

@Kithmo they are electrically in parallel so both should operate at the same time within thier own speeds, ie. one might fully complete opening or closing first.
