According go fastned, the mg5 supports autocharge. Just plug in and it'll start charging. Has anyone tried this?

You need to register, in the app, the first time for it to recognise the car for subsequent visits. Not used it myself, no Fastned around these parts or anywhere I've passed but have heard it does work.

I have used it at Fastned (Sandwich, UK) and can confirm it works!
